During the very last phases of the MICO project, the University of Passau looked into possibilities of visualising RDF results, which proved to be an interesting topic – which is also directly connected to the opportunities of RDF creation, querying, and discovery of the MICO Platform. First ideas and a proof of concept were imagined, in order to give inspiration to others and contribute to the vision of MICO.
The result is the early prototype implementation shown in the following video. Using visual aids like pictures and illustrations combined with a tile-based presentation to the user, easier discovery of produced MICO results is made possible. The implementation is oriented and based on Balloon Synopsis (see http://schlegel.github.io/balloon/balloon-synopsis.html).
